Judy McBride Dip Dental Hygiene

I worked as a Dental Therapist Assistant for the School Dental Service, then full time as a Dental Assistant in a Christchurch private Dental practice.  After the children left school  I returned to school again moving to  Dunedin for two years full time study at Otago University.                        In 2004 I graduated  as a Dental Hygienist.
I have practised in a number of Christchurch Dental Surgeries  and   have come to share the lives of so many lovely people.  I love my job because it  involves  doing  so much to help people enjoy good dental health  with the incidental  benefit of improving their overall general health too.
Since 2014 I have been working at Riccarton Dentists.   Due to increased demand my hours for Hygiene appointments are now being extended and I will be there most weekdays .   Working  with Richard, Wayne,  Annabelle and the team is enjoyable because they all appreciate the importance of gum health and maintenance for the well being of their patients.   In this regard Riccarton Dentists  provides such a supportive environment to Dental Hygienists.

I was country raised in Mayfield, Christchurch educated at  Rangi Ruru and graduated as a radiographer from the Otago School of Radiography in 1974.  Radiography was my ticket to see the world and I practised in Nelson, Brisbane, Cairns, London and Saudi Arabia before getting down to the serious work of raising a family.

When my two children were at Burnside I re-entered the workforce in the field that always interested me - Dentistry.
